The majority of travelers have simple requirements when it comes to staying at hotels such as a clean bathroom, a clean bed, a TV and maybe wi-fi.  However, there are others out there who require a little bit more to stay comfortable.  When the world’s most wealthy travelers take a vacation, they are treated to suites that cover entire floors of a hotel building, rooms that include a personal butler and pianist, and some even come with their own private helicopter.  Lets take a little peek into the the life of the rich and famous.  Below you will find 10 of the most expensive hotel rooms/suites in the world.



Number 10:  Imperial Suite at Park Hyatt-Vendôme – Paris, France – $15,500/night

Imperial suite, which is located on the 5th floor, is “only” 200 square meters. This suite features a mansard roof and a 60 square meter balcony which overlooks the Rue de la Paix, with an amazing view of the Vendôme column. The suite also features the “in suite spa” concept offering individual comfort with a steam room shower and a spacious massage table. Not bad for $15,500 per night.



Number 9: Royal Suite at Four Seasons George V – $16,000/night

Four Seasons George V offers two extravagant Royal Suites, both on the first floor with direct access to a private terrace overlooking the historic Art Deco fountain of the Three Graces. These antique-filled suites feature oversized spaces for entertaining and relaxation, and the business convenience of a private office.

This suite if for presidents of all presidents. The penthouse suite takes up the entire top floor of the hotel. The four bedroom suite can hold up to 40 guests in its cocktail lounge and is said to be the best digs for heads of state wanting to make an impression when they’re in town on United Nations business.

Hugh Hefner’s Playboy-themed suite at the Palms Casino resort has a ridiculously expensive $700,000 Jacuzzi that hangs out above the Las Vegas strip. The 10,000 square-foot, two-storey suite comes with around-the-clock butler service and a rotating bed set beneath a mirrored ceiling. The only thing missing are the Playboy models! I’m sure that can be negotiated if the price is right!


Number 1: Royal Villa at Grand Resort Lagonissi Athens, Greece – $50,000/night

Want to spend one year’s worth of salary in one night? The Grand Resort’s Royal Villa can take care of that for you, no problem. The worlds most elite guests get a private version of everything imaginable. The only people you get to see in this secluded heaven with heated pools, steam room and private beach are the suite’s dedicated butler, chef and pianist.
